Biography

Oluwagbemi is a senior partner at 24 Law Chambers, leading the firm’s Banking & Finance and Commercial Transactions practices. Over more than two decades, he has counselled Nigerian and international clients through some of the most consequential transactions in the country’s recent corporate history — from cross-border acquisitions and project financings to private-equity investments and bank-led restructurings.

His clients describe him as both rigorous and unusually calm under pressure. He has a particular gift for finding workable middle ground in disputes that look intractable on paper, and he brings the same instinct to deal-making — translating commercial intent into legal architecture without losing the original idea.

Outside of practice, Oluwagbemi serves on the boards of two Nigerian non-profits supporting access to legal education and lectures occasionally on corporate governance.
