Biography

Sopakirite Kurule-Alele is a Senior Associate at 24 Law Chambers, bringing a versatile practice that spans dispute resolution, taxation, real estate, and intellectual property. Her breadth of expertise makes her one of the most relied-upon members of the firm across multiple practice groups.

In dispute resolution, Sopakirite has represented clients in commercial litigation before the Federal and State High Courts and has assisted in arbitral proceedings under Nigerian and international rules. Her tax practice covers both contentious matters before the Tax Appeal Tribunal and advisory work on corporate tax planning, transfer pricing, and compliance.

She also advises on commercial real estate transactions — from acquisitions and development agreements to lease negotiations — and has built a growing practice in intellectual property, assisting clients with trademark registration, licensing, and enforcement across Nigeria.

Colleagues value her thoroughness, her ability to work across practice boundaries, and her commitment to delivering commercially sound advice under tight deadlines.
